GETTING STARTED

Welcome to the RearSilver Stream Suite Private Beta. Follow these steps to get started.

INSTALLING THE SUITE

1. Download RearSilver Stream Suite from the private link supplied after approval.

2. Close OBS Studio and the RearSilver Control Hub if either is running.

3. Open the downloaded installer.

4. Windows may display an “Unknown publisher” permission prompt. Only continue if you downloaded the installer from the official RearSilver private-beta link.

5. Follow the installer prompts.

6. Select Launch OBS Studio when installation finishes, or open OBS normally.

7. Follow the first-time guided setup presented by the Suite.

ABOUT THE WINDOWS PERMISSION PROMPT

Windows will ask for permission to make changes and may display ‘Unknown publisher.’ RearSilver Stream Suite is an independently developed application, and the installer needs administrator access to add the Suite to OBS Studio’s protected installation folders. Only continue if you downloaded the installer from the official RearSilver private-beta link.

The installer handles the required components automatically. You do not need to install them separately.

UPDATING

When a new beta build is available, download and run the replacement installer supplied by RearSilver. Close OBS Studio and the Control Hub first.

You do not need to uninstall the existing beta. Your settings and completed setup steps should be retained.

After updating, open Feedback & Diagnostics and confirm that the plugin and Control Hub versions match.

UNINSTALLING

Close OBS Studio and the Control Hub.

Open Windows Settings, find RearSilver Stream Suite in the installed applications list, and select Uninstall.

The uninstaller removes the OBS plugin and Control Hub while retaining saved user settings.

GETTING HELP

If something isn’t working, open Feedback & Diagnostics to prepare a report.

Reports are prepared locally and are not submitted automatically. Review the report yourself, then share it through the agreed beta feedback channel.

WHEN THE BETA ENDS

This beta expires on 31 October 2026. After expiry, ordinary Suite functionality will be disabled.

Feedback & Diagnostics will remain available.
