Install the Stream Suite

Download and install the Control Hub and OBS plugin, then confirm the connection between them.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or later
  • 64-bit OBS Studio
  • An internet connection to download the installer

Steps

Download the installer

Download the RearSilver Stream Suite installer from the download link provided when you received your copy of the Suite.

Run the installer

Open the downloaded installer file. Accept the Windows UAC prompt if it appears, then follow the installation wizard to completion.

Open OBS

Launch OBS Studio after the installation has completed.

Confirm the plugin is loaded

In OBS, open the Docks menu and look for RearSilver Stream Suite. If the option is present, the plugin has loaded successfully. Select it to open the Suite dock.

Open the Control Hub

Launch the RearSilver Control Hub from its Windows Start menu entry.

Verify the OBS connection

Once the Control Hub is open, look for the OBS connected status indicator. If OBS is not yet open, open it now and the Hub will detect it automatically.

What success looks like

  • RearSilver Stream Suite appears in OBS’s Docks menu.
  • The Suite dock opens in OBS.
  • The Control Hub shows that OBS is connected.

Common problems

  • RearSilver Stream Suite is missing from the Docks menu: Close OBS and run the installer again.
  • The Control Hub does not connect to OBS: Confirm that OBS is open and that the Suite plugin appears in the Docks menu.
